Strategy & Planning

The adoption of a strategic approach to business operation is critical to achieving engagement objectives.

Appreciating that every business and its needs are different, we will work with you to tailor a strategic approach that best suits your immediate and ongoing business requirements.

This may involve strategy development and the enabling of internal resources to deliver against the strategy, or providing ongoing support through project management and implementation. Either way, we will provide a solution that is realistic, practical and achievable.

Strategy and Planning in Action

At two years old, Australia's red meat industry quality assurance (QA) program was experiencing a downturn in producer participation.  Schuster Consulting Group was engaged to conduct a review and critical analysis of the program and develop a 3-year strategic plan to reinvent and reinvigorate the program.

Through the use of online surveys, telephone interviews and focus groups, we gathered both qualitative and quantitative data to gauge the current perceptions among producers of the QA program and identify opportunities for the future.

Five key strategic imperatives, critical to the success of a QA program for the red meat industry, were identified and practical pathways for achieving each, including tactical implementation and budgets, were developed.
